The Staff regulations and staff rules provide a detailed account of the procedures we follow to govern the working relationship at the Organization. Before accepting an appointment at IMO, you must familiarize yourself with the regulations and rules.

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund is the pension provider for staff members of the United Nations and associated agencies. The Regulations and Rules governing the provision of the pension plan can be found on the related documents link on the right.

Cigna  is the medical provider for  staff members at IMO Headquarters. Belonging to the medical plan is mandatory for all staff members who join the Organization. A summary of benefits and premiums paid by staff members are indicated in the two related documents on the right.
